The history. The furnishings and the breakfast food. Not a good choice for disabled

This historic hotel dates back to the 1890s Gold Rush era, is lovingly maintained and spotless, and the rooms and bathrooms are tiny just like the originals; the manager and staff are friendly, helpful, and well‑informed.

The hotel is stunning, the staff are amazing, and we loved our stay so much that nothing could be improved.
