The place is great, close to the spa, very friendly prices, huge room, big bed, pretty bathroom. Everything was fine.

The hotel is centrally located, well equipped, and the staff are friendly. On the first day there was no heating, even though it was officially the heating season. The shower in the bathroom was partially cold, and at night it was cold for the shower. The next day, among other things, I at least got the remote for the climate control. That lowered my rating. If there had been heating, everything would have been perfect.

The room and bathroom were clean and tidy, the bed comfortable, and a bathrobe and hotel slippers greeted us. The terrace was a nice addition to the room. The deluxe room was comfortable and suitable for two people. When we arrived, the receptionist could have been friendlier and more guest‑focused. At the hotel entrance, the receptionist’s acquaintances were waiting, and it seemed they expected the staff to finish work quickly so they could join them. Also, we weren’t told that the TV in the room wouldn’t work, the heating couldn’t be regulated, and the radiators were completely cold. Knowing about these conditions beforehand would have mattered a lot because they significantly affect guests’ comfort and the quality of the stay. Unfortunately, the receptionist’s behavior considerably spoiled the overall positive experience. A kind, friendly, and attentive welcome would have improved the first impression, especially since it was our first time staying at Wegzen Hotel.
