“Brudno i nieprzyjemnie”
The pool water was warm and the window view was beautiful, but the service was terrible, more like a roadside pizzeria than a 3‑ or 4‑star hotel; I’ve never been in such a dirty place, with a thick layer of dust on every surface, dead insects trapped in glass frames, walls stained, grout and corners in the bathroom blackened, a bathroom cabinet dated 2022, and we waited over 30 minutes for a pillow because only two staff were present in a three‑person room. The information brochures looked like they’d been read dozens of times and folded into cubes, and there was no initiative or help arranging the birthday dinner I’d mentioned to reception before arrival – the restaurant staff knew nothing, we ate on dirty napkins, and not even a simple tealight was lit. The staff seemed untrained; the waiter couldn’t say what the crisp on the tartare was made of and the menu was sparse, everyone dressed however they wanted, lifeguards wore private clothes indistinguishable from guests, and the only plus was water dispensers in the corridors. The pool tiles were slippery and unsafe. What was supposed to be a royal‑style birthday for my husband, costing about 1000 zł for a night with breakfast and dinner, turned out to be the worst stay I’ve had, comparable to a Dutch cottage for 120 zł with meals and a swarm of beetles.
