The welcome was incredibly warm and inviting, turning our initial impressions of Alderney around; the hotel met all our requests, the sister property offered great food and ambience, and everyone was friendly, genuinely helpful, and made our stay enjoyable, so we plan to return soon. Sunshine greeted us on arrival, but the weather improved… :-)

The spot in the town centre is close to cycle hire and all amenities; the place was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated, and we liked being able to sit in the living room space. Having a mini fridge in the dining room with fresh milk and water was a lovely addition, and beach towels were great! Friendly staff at check‑in, and the breakfast choice was good; we were given a fan for our room upon request. It was hard to get fresh air in our room because we had to prop the door open as the window faced an internal enclosed space, and unfortunately the promised takeaway breakfast for our early departure was forgotten!
