The food was very good and balanced – no excess or shortages, plenty of meat, veggies and fruit in a wide selection. My room was in the old part of the hotel, which consists of two complexes, and felt like early Gierek in a South‑European style: a tiny bathroom where water drips from the shower, a mattress made from a foam slat, and flies that bit at night (not the fault of the hotel managers). The pool was fine for those who like it. The biggest pain was the lack of a hotel lounge with comfy chairs; when the room feels like a cave, you want a comfortable spot to sit. There was a bar with chairs, but that’s not the same.

The hotel was excellent, and I have no complaints about the room, the food, or my overall stay. Everything was exactly as it should be. I especially want to praise the staff – they were always cheerful, smiling, friendly, and ready to answer any questions or help with anything I needed. My biggest compliment goes to the bartender, Luigi. I talked with him a lot during my stay and quickly saw what kind of person he is: honest, kind, hardworking, and always in a good mood. He cares about doing his job properly, keeping his integrity, and making sure guests are happy. One thing that stuck with me was how he talked about his hands – hardworking, honest hands that he’s proud of. We also discussed family, and it was clear how much he loves his wife and children. They come first in his life, and you can see that everything he does is for them. People like that are not easily forgotten when your holiday is over and you return home. Bravo, Luigi! Stay exactly the person you are. You have my respect. I wish you and your family lots of happiness, health, and all the best. Until we meet again! 👋 Hotel Iro has my highest praise and recommendation.
