I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the shared house turned out to be spot‑on. The shower had endless hot water, the kitchen was clean, roomy and well‑stocked, and my bedroom was surprisingly large with a floor‑length mirror. The garden runs along both sides of the house, the other guests were friendly yet low‑key, and the owner—an artist who runs an olive‑oil farm—was warm and welcoming, especially with his tiny Pomeranian that roams the property.
