The room was spacious with a nice bathroom and the reception staff were genuinely friendly, yet the mattress felt too thin and was very uncomfortable; ongoing construction around the building has left scaffolding that frosts all the windows, blocking the view, which is a real disappointment; construction started before 9 am and I was woken several times at night by noises, shouting outside and people walking in the hallway.

The hostel was perfectly acceptable, offering a private bathroom per room (not always the case!), and a short walk from the station.

The place was well‑situated and the staff friendly, but the hotel needed some updates. Walls were peeling, our window couldn’t lock, and external stalls against the building made it vulnerable to break‑ins. There was no shower, only a dirty bathtub, and the bed was very uncomfortable.
