The hotel is clean, stylish, and in a fantastic walkable area with shops, restaurants, and the Claremont colleges nearby; the room was modern, spotless, and well equipped, and I had no issues.

The spot is great, close to shops and restaurants, the room is spacious, and breakfast is decent, but the towels were old, the shower water pressure was weak, and all the faucet handles were loose, so the place needs maintenance.

It’s by far the best spot for the Claremont Colleges, the rooms are lovely, breakfast is very good, and the reception staff are friendly, yet the courtyard—the only common area—could use a makeover; it’s full of leaves and dust despite their efforts to keep it clean, and it could be a welcoming haven if they revamp it.

The spot is great, with a lovely courtyard and staff who are both friendly and helpful, plus parking that’s easy to find. The bed was super comfy and the huge bathtub was a nice bonus. On the downside, the restaurants behind the hotel and the interior courtyard can be a bit noisy, and you can hear some noise from the rooms above. There’s no gym, but the nearby hiking and walking trails are excellent.

The location is solid and the happy hour and breakfast are a treat. The newer rooms look nice. However, the beds feel too soft, the front door lets in a lot of light, and the thermostat refuses to go below 69.
