“Location and breakfast were fantastic!”

The staff and location were great, but we couldn’t connect to Wi‑Fi and there was a very loud karaoke evening on the night of our stay.

“An absolute hidden gem!”

The staff, location, price, parking access, and views all made our stay great. We had excellent access to tourist activities and plenty of food and drink options. The local scene wasn’t overly loud at night either. The only downside was having to arrive early for a parking spot, though turnover was quick if you had to wait. There were many stairs in a tight space to reach the room, which made it harder for older people but not the worst given the building’s age.

“Great room and location.”

We loved the location right on the quay and at the centre of everything. The interior had character and the room was spotless. There was nothing we didn’t like about the property; even the quirky stairs didn’t put us off. The only negative was the breakfast selection: the full English didn’t match the picture, one of us doesn’t eat bread and asked for no mushrooms but was offered nothing else, yet when the next guests came they were given an egg on a vegetarian breakfast without even asking.

“Moulin Rouge ttip.”

The staff were friendly, the room was clean with a very comfortable bed, the breakfast was excellent, the beer was good, and the location was great.

The location was great and the staff were welcoming. The room was nice and the breakfast was good. Parking is in a paid car park next to the inn, which can often be full.
