The rooms came stocked with water bottles and kids’ juice, and the common kitchen had good layout and utensils. The building is traditional with an inner courtyard and sensible layout. One room’s TV didn’t pick up any radio or TV channels, and the other only had radio. Even in this age of gadgets and low TV use, it’s nice to be able to catch a TVE news bulletin or something local. It would help to explain in advance how the centre‑access restriction works; the main square is two streets from the hotel, and access is sometimes free, sometimes completely blocked. We were lucky that on the day we arrived the access was free.
