“Good standard guest house”
The breakfast was excellent and the location was convenient. The bathroom was separate.
I had an extremely disappointing encounter with the host. After booking through a third‑party rather than directly, he called me and shouted aggressively, using offensive language. His conduct was totally inappropriate and unprofessional; I’ve never seen such treatment from a host. Everyone deserves basic respect, no matter how they book. Check the reviews before you book, as other guests have reported similar issues. I would not recommend this property to anyone.
I really enjoyed my stay. Thanks.
The welcome was good. Nothing else.
The food was excellent and the host was knowledgeable, sharing interesting facts about Silloth and giving useful advice on the coastal path trail.
