I was surprised to find every amenity working—air conditioning, a mosquito net, hot and cold water, and even Wi‑Fi—despite what I’d read elsewhere. The price was a bargain and the location great, so I’d recommend it to anyone on a tight budget. Some people might think it’s a bit shabby, but I didn’t mind, especially for what I paid.

The restaurant was good, but the room was dirty, the linens were old, spiders were under the bed in the wardrobe, and there were ants and termites in the walls. The hotel felt very tired.
