The hotel is excellent, conveniently located right next to a U‑bahn station and just two stops from the main station. Its décor is tastefully elegant, the rooms are lovely, and the price‑for‑value is incredible for a central spot in Hamburg.

The hotel was close to the U‑bahn, only two stops from the main station, and it was quiet and peaceful; the room was large, accommodating six people with three double beds. However, the hallway and bathroom had a light switch that made it impossible to close the bedroom door, and if someone used the toilet at night, all the lights would turn on—quite annoying.

The balcony was a highlight, yet there was no staff on site, the parking request failed, and nobody could be reached—no one returned the call, and the next morning I got a parking fine. Hamburg, welcome.

I liked the free-standing bathtub and the easy access to public transport, but the check‑in was confusing because of the automated kiosk.

The location, cleanliness, room size, good equipment, comfortable bed, and tasteful décor were all positives. On the downside, there are no snack or drink options (no vending machines). The bathroom light, like the hallway light, is motion‑activated and triggers very easily; the hallway light turns on just by lifting an arm from the bed, and the bathroom light stays on for a long time after leaving.
