The staff behaved well, yet my stay was disappointing because the Classic Room price shown at booking didn’t match what was charged, the rooms were tiny and didn’t justify the roughly ₹6,000 per night + GST, and overall the experience didn’t offer good value; better pricing transparency and room quality are needed.

“Don't waste your money for mall road connectivity”

The only connection was to Mall Road, but the staff were rude, check‑in was delayed, early check‑out was forced, breakfast was bad, and there was no Wi‑Fi.

“Best location but poor access and services.”

You have to climb many steps to reach the lift, and even when going down you still use stairs—so it’s not suitable for seniors or families with small kids; the food is overpriced, the Premier room’s outdoor area lacks a roof so you stand in rain or snow to get home, and housekeeping is very poor—Sterling should address this. The staff don’t provide all toiletries and the tea kettle kit, so you have to ask repeatedly. The location is great but there’s no view from the room and access to hotel services is poor, making the high price unjustified; not recommended. – Rakesh Agrawal

“Very nice hotel for stay”

The hotel is on Mall Road, but you have to climb many floors with luggage before catching the lift; an additional lift arrangement could improve things.
