“A stylish, comfortable and centrally located apartment with really helpful host”
The apartment is very stylish, well located, and the air‑con is efficient. Chiara was incredibly helpful and we appreciated the breakfast vouchers. We arrived late, so we ate at the nearest restaurant, Vizi et Virtu, right across the street. The terrace was lovely, but the service was negligent and dismissive, and the pasta was overcooked (see my TA review). On the second evening, we asked Chiara for a recommendation and enjoyed a wonderful night at La Rocco Gourmet—what a contrast! Lucignano is great for visiting picturesque towns; within an hour we saw Orvieto, Anghiari, Sansepolcro, and Cortona. The only downside was the exposed shower and toilet, which I wasn’t a fan of. The photos show it, so I’m sorry for not noticing earlier; it might not bother others. Overall, comfort, location, and Chiara’s attentive care (and that of the cleaners) made for a very positive experience. The exposed shower area and only one towel hook were the only negatives.
