Breakfast was decent and the location superb, but the front desk could have been more attentive, the bar service better, and the laundry clothes shouldn’t have been exposed in the corridor; it left a bad impression.

The location is excellent, across from a restaurant with tasty kutab and various teas, and the girls' tower is a 3‑minute walk; the shower is awful, the balcony door didn’t lock, the safe didn’t work—this price is only for the location.

The reception staff were courteous and helpful, called taxis and acted promptly when we needed anything, such as an iron and ironing board. The room wasn’t cleaned regularly, there was a lot of dust under the bed, and we had to ask for toilet paper; the toiletries were well stocked. We had to unplug the fridge to plug the kettle in, and there was an unpleasant drain smell every time we used the bathroom. This is a very old building.

The culture that emanates, the warm atmosphere; the shower installation floods the bathroom.

The spot is great, the rooms comfy and clean, and the breakfasts are solid. But the staff failed to arrange the airport transfer I had booked, and they also neglected to set up the birthday breakfast with flowers that I had requested in earlier messages to the hotel.
