The view, the large room, and Mary’s welcome were great. The breakfast products were of mediocre quality, and it was annoying to hear conversations from the next room and, to a lesser extent, that breakfast time was imposed, though we can understand that.

A lovely view of the lake and the house sits quietly. A few nice spots are in the nearby town, and it works well for trips to Galway, the Aran Islands, and for hiking. Unfortunately, the house is very noisy; I could hear other guests coughing. Also, the charm looks a bit dated compared to the photos.

The breakfast was freshly cooked and the location is beautiful. I requested two beds, but I was given a room with a single double bed and no prior message about the change. The bathroom is small.

The location is good. The room is small and old. The bathroom needs improvement (the shelf in the shower is rusty, for example) and there is humidity in the room. Breakfast is hard to find, lacks local products, has industrial jam, and the cheese is bland and industrial. Otherwise the welcome was good and the staff were smiling.
