The little stone‑cottage is a quiet hideaway, just a short walk from the mountain trails and lakes. The food was tasty, the beds surprisingly comfortable, and the host was incredibly friendly, always quick to reply on WhatsApp and eager to share homemade specialties. Getting there means a bumpy gravel road or a hike from Bov, but it’s worth the effort—we’ll definitely be back.

Nothing about this place worked for us. The road to get there was a nightmare, and the inn itself was a shock—no hygiene whatsoever. Cows greeted us, dogs leapt onto the car and barked, and some locals ran around the vehicle like they were on a wild chase. The “restaurant” fridges were empty, and the rooms looked nothing like the photos. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone and I’m still waiting for a refund after emailing them with no response.

We tried to reach the guesthouse, but the road was a disaster—rocky, full of holes, and basically impassable. We never made it to the property and the 69 lev we paid just vanished.
