We were woken downstairs by the house. The lady insisted on carrying our suitcase up the narrow path, and eventually my husband and I lifted it together. I asked if a downstairs room was available because of knee pain, and that was the one we got. Unfortunately, that room had nothing but a bed—no fridge—so I regretted that. That was my fault. Also, the room had no fridge and there were no glasses or kettle in the room.

The room was spotless, which was a relief after a long drive. The house sits on a hill with a gorgeous view, but hauling our suitcases up the path was far from convenient. Thankfully the host had arranged for someone to meet us when we arrived late at night.

The place was absolutely clean, everything looked fresh. The only snag was that the parking spot was a little down the hill, so we had to walk a bit to get to the door.
