A breathtaking spot! The villa is 19% off the 100% mark, kept pristine inside and out with original furnishings, maintained at the highest level, and the staff were incredibly courteous, answering every request. The homemade meals were tasty, and everything we asked for—like the pots, extras, etc.—was added. The natural atmosphere is insane, with stunning views, quiet and peaceful, fruit trees—apricots, oranges, vineyards—where everything can be harvested and eaten. A truly perfect experience.

“Endroit idéal quand on est de passage dans la région”

La Quinta is stunning, with a view of the Douro and a pool overlooking the river—top! The staff are very friendly, and breakfast is good and hearty. Nothing else to criticize; we liked everything.

“Très agréable”

A wonderful, charming place: the location, the view, the lovely pool by the Douro, the “great manor” room, and the antique furniture. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the Douro was great. We dined there two consecutive evenings for the magical location, but the meal quality—especially the main dish—needs real improvement.

Everything good except the beds. When we turn in bed, the bed makes a lot of noise, waking us up. Think about fixing that; it’s not hard. Whenever we move while sleeping, the bed makes a lot of noise. Think about it.
