The host was very friendly and outgoing and super helpful, truly wanting you to feel at home from the garden out back to the fully equipped shared kitchen. The room was comfortable and well appointed, and I ended up parking on the street (which was perfectly ok) because the identified parking in the backyard was down a steep, intimidating hill, so having options was nice. I often find accommodations in Europe do not have enough hooks in the bathroom; there's nowhere to hang up clothes, robes, etc.

The host is very friendly and the funniest person you’ll ever meet—upon arrival we received gifts (two nice beers). Hygiene is excellent: the host brings new towels and sponges daily and cleans every day. The shower is amazing, heating up in two seconds. Beds are nice and comfortable, though a little squeaky. A single large blanket would be better for a double bed than two single ones. The kitchen is very cozy and everything works well. Overall 10/10, highly recommended. The pension is a 36‑minute walk from the train station with no public transport options. That wasn’t a problem for us, but for other visitors coming to Poprad for the Tatras it could be inconvenient. Still, no issue if you’re not planning to walk 36 minutes to the train.
