Vila Gorenka sits on a small hill overlooking the lake; some rooms offer a beautiful view and mine was one of them. The spot is perfect, and the owner upgraded my room because I arrived just after high season and a vacancy was available. The house is old, charming, quirky, and full of character. The kitchen only has basic amenities, but that was enough for me. I’d definitely come back!

Maria, the host, is lovely and super helpful. The balcony view is stunning, and the room is very spacious with a tap inside. The bathroom is shared—one per floor with two toilets. It’s just a bathtub, no shower or curtain, so you can get quite messy. Parking costs 15€ per stay, which feels unnecessary since other places we stayed didn’t charge for on‑premises parking. The doors need oiling to stop creaking.

The property is cute, clean, and literally sits right in front of the lake, making it very accessible. The owner is very nice.
