“Echt een overnachtingshotel op doorreis. Geen sfeer”

The location was almost directly on the A61, and there was one restaurant in the village that served very good food, though it was pricey. We were the only guests after the work crowd had left, so the owner didn’t provide breakfast and we had to arrange that ourselves. The room was scorching hot when we arrived and had no air conditioning. We also didn’t see anyone at the front desk when we checked out.

The breakfast was hearty, with cold cuts, cheese, fruit, eggs, yogurt, and warm pastries that were delicious. It would be nice to have a comfort tray with coffee and tea, and it’s unfortunate that there isn’t a water bottle in the room. Having no reception available at night can feel insecure, even though the hostess was friendly and welcoming.
