“Historic Charm with Room for Improvement”
The inn has a charming historic vibe that made the stay enjoyable despite its age. Bathrobes were a rare and thoughtful touch. The bed was extremely comfortable and gave a great night's sleep. Morning coffee and tea were complimentary, a nice start to the day. The overall atmosphere was welcoming and memorable, even with a few minor maintenance issues. The window air‑conditioner was old and blew air directly onto the bed, so I kept it off; the windows couldn’t open, blocking fresh air. The shower control handle was loose and fell off my hand, and the bathroom lighting and exhaust fan were on a single switch, so the loud fan stayed on whenever the light was on—having a separate fan switch would help. The room was cramped, the bed took up most space, and one bedpost blocked the TV view. I was disappointed there was no full breakfast, only coffee and tea; a proper breakfast would be a great addition.
