This place is a wonderful oasis of calm with a fantastic pool and great rooms. Breakfast was excellent and generous. The only issue was a miscommunication about dinner, but they fixed it by getting take‑away for us. The staff were very friendly, and they can connect you with a driver to explore the city. Highly recommended.

We were warmly welcomed at Blooming Holiday Resort! The owners are incredibly kind and hospitable, making you feel at home. The room is very spacious with a wonderful bed. Dinner is delicious for a small fee, and breakfast was also excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A real recommendation if you’re in the area!

The staff were truly lovely and attentive; we asked for a dinner and it turned out to be a huge, delicious meal (just ask ahead). On the last day we went on a safari that started at 5:00 am, and the owners were there to say goodbye and handed us small bags with a full breakfast for each of us. The rooms were very clean, had a mini‑fridge, and there was a large pool. Overall, a wonderful experience ❤️

A solid base for visiting Anuradhapura. We stayed three nights and saw the ancient city, Mihintale, and Wilpattu National Park. It was a pity they couldn’t prepare breakfast before we left for the safari, but the dinner that night made up for it. The homestay was nice, the people were friendly, and the pool was a nice way to cool off. The only downside was the lack of a shower curtain or barrier, so the bathroom stayed completely wet after a shower.
