“Horrible”

I was forced to avoid this place entirely. I tried to give a negative rating but the system didn’t allow it. When I sent the booking number for check‑in, they demanded a photo ID over WhatsApp with no data protection. If I didn’t comply, they offered a £14.75 ID waiver and a £4.97 deposit waiver. The property had no staff on site; all communication came from a WhatsApp bot that never answered calls but kept sending messages demanding ID or the waiver. I waited outside, repeatedly calling the number, but they deliberately ignored me and kept insisting it was my last chance to upload ID or pay the waiver. They never confirmed data‑protection compliance and kept asking for personal ID via WhatsApp. At 10 pm I had to book another hostel for the night – it was a simple check‑in that took five minutes. They didn’t care about a refund because the booking was non‑refundable. All of this was buried in their booking details, invisible at the time of booking, and I only realized others were similarly caught out after reading other reviews. Avoid at all costs.

“Very bad wouldn’t recommend very poor the lack of communication from the owners of the Airbnb and would not want to stay”

The beds were comfortable, but it was very noisy at night with people outside playing music until at least 2 am. The morning after, the fire alarm went off and the fire department had to be called to reset the alarms. The bathroom was awful – the shower was too small and there was no reception staff to address these issues.
