The owner Pippo is very friendly and welcoming, the breakfast includes fresh pastries, the room with a loft is beautifully detailed, minimalist and designed with a bathroom divided by a curved glass pane beneath an arch, typical stone ceilings from Matera. The central location is close to the Sassi.

Pippo’s exceptional welcome before and upon arrival, his care for parking, the breakfast of varied sweet‑savory products served generously by kind Madame Pippo, the atypical room on the upper floor suitable for people up to 1.70 m, the good restaurant recommendations and city map, and the proximity of the Sassi just a few steps from the lodging. The transparent wall between the room and the bathroom‑toilet is a drawback.
