Atour Hotel Shanghai Pudong Airport

The room was huge, but the shower pressure was awful. Being on the ground floor meant we could hear people checking in and rolling luggage all the time. The breakfast buffet had a lot of options, yet everything tasted stale and flavorless. The room looked a bit worn and needed some maintenance. We drove 30 minutes to the airport, which felt too far even though they offered a free shuttle.

“Awesome hotel stay in Shanghai with reasonable price.”

The buffet was one of the best I've had, mostly Chinese dishes that might not hit everyone's taste buds, but it was top‑grade for me. Free laundry and free water bottles in the room, reception, and gym were convenient. The bed was comfy, the shower had great pressure, and the free shuttle to the airport and Disneyland worked well. The gym equipment, however, needs some upkeep.

“Perfect! Staff are very nice and accommodating”

They let us check in early, and when my delivery app failed, they even brought me food to my room. Free laundry was a bonus. This is the best layover hotel I’ve booked in Shanghai; I’ll definitely return.

“便利でした”

The hotel is only about a 25‑minute drive from Pudong Airport and they offer a free shuttle that runs roughly every hour. The breakfast buffet is the usual mix of Chinese dishes, breads and fruit, and there’s a Chinese restaurant and a Lawson nearby so dinner is easy to sort out. If you ask for room service, they’ll bring the food to you, and inside the property a delivery robot actually rolls the meals up to your door. Laundry is complimentary, with three washers and three dryers, and while your laundry cycles you can pop into the adjoining gym for a quick sweat. My room was spacious and even had a washlet toilet. The only downside was that voices from other guests in the hallway sometimes echoed loudly enough to be annoying.
