The only perk was the spot right next to I‑75. I had called ahead to confirm the hot tub was working and was told it was, but it was colder than the pool and filled with dead bugs. Cleanliness was a major issue; there was a room full of old mattresses, broken appliances, and visible garbage as you passed the pool. I was very disappointed, and the staff seemed indifferent.

I arrived at 6 am when the breakfast service started, and the only fruit available was a banana; there was no other fruit. Cereal was limited to crushed flakes in a container, and I ended up eating all of it because I was the first there. They had watery waffle mix and a case of sliced bread. Everything was terrible.

They had a pool and a hot tub, but the hot tub was nasty and needed cleaning. My room smelled bad, there were no towels, and the floor was dirty; the room needed a thorough clean.

A friend of the owner was there, 10 pm, and she was helping clean rooms even though she didn't work there. She was able to get the items that were not in the room. They had to close off the suite we booked because of a "lock issue." They promised us that they would bring an inflatable mattress to our new room and never did. They brought a thin pad as the additional sleeping arrangement. We called several times and the said they were on their way up with everything but it took someone else to bring it to me
