“Excellent venue with friendly staff”

The food at both breakfast and dinner was great, and there were no problems.

“Nice hotel with good facilities, good food and drink and friendly staff.”

This large hotel doubles as a conference centre or wedding venue; my Junior Suite, which was an upgrade, was very comfortable with all the expected facilities, the bar and restaurant were both very good and the meals lovely, but because the hotel was fully booked the bar and dining room were very noisy in the evening—almost uncomfortable—mostly due to the sheer number of guests and a few large groups with loud people who don’t respect indoor voices.

“A perfect mini break”

It was lively, clean and comfortable, and the staff were lovely, helpful and friendly, with no issues.

There was no AC, the rooms were incredibly hot, and AC is desperately needed.

“A perfect spot for our overnight stay, located in an area steeped in history. So much to explore - we hope to return one”

The location is lovely, the room was quiet with a comfy bed, the restaurant was superb with delicious, plentiful food and delightful staff, there was generous free parking on site, and the building has an interesting history and an impressive list of celebrity past guests.
