The room key was very difficult to use. The washlet in the shared toilet was broken. The parking instructions were not helpful.

It’s easy to reach from the station, and as a guest house it’s very affordable, but it has the essentials so I was very satisfied for a short trip! Above all, the staff were incredibly kind and I grew to love them a lot! The first‑floor café also has a nice spice aroma. If you go to Oita, you’ll definitely want to tour the hell hot springs; this place starts at 9 am, so having a breakfast option at 8 am would make me super happy!

It was stylish and clean. The shared area had a large table and was comfortable. I couldn't use it because of timing, but the breakfast at the first‑floor café looked very tasty. The “Natsumaya” take‑out from Beppu Station with the fried chicken and chicken rice box was delicious. We used a two‑person private room, which was just enough but a bit tight. Getting to tourist spots like Umigata requires a bus. If you prefer staying closer to Beppu Station for the next day’s travel, that can be a benefit depending on your schedule.
