“Quiet and safe little house perfect for backpackers”

The owners and their family are the sweetest people I’ve met; they happily accommodated my late checkout for a morning tour and made sure I felt comfortable. The place has all the basics you need and sits in a perfectly quiet spot right in the busy centre of Ubud. I’d highly recommend it for solo female travellers because I felt very safe and I’ll definitely return when I come back. The shower head could be replaced and the tap water pressure is very low.

Everything was fantastic. The hosts were very friendly and serve a delicious breakfast every morning. The accommodation is in the centre of Ubud, clean, and the bed is very comfortable.

The staff was super kind and hospitable. When we had a problem with the hot water in our room, they moved us to a larger room at no extra cost. The location was excellent and the place was beautiful. The room could use a few more windows for better ventilation, but it’s not a big deal.

“Truly an oasis in the heart of Ubud”

I always come back here when I travel to Bali and Ubud. The family are some of the kindest people I’ve ever met, and even though it’s super central, Depa House is a true oasis of calm in the hustle and bustle of downtown Ubud <3. Nothing.
