It was okay, close enough to return to La Plancha and catch the Mayab train, and near tourist spots; the staff were very friendly. Ants were on the table and the TV was old with a broken remote. Trying to use Netflix failed—the screen stayed black, so I had to log out from my phone; they might fix it if notified, but I didn’t stay long enough to try again. Mosquitoes also bothered me.

The location is excellent and we didn’t use the dining room. Everything was fine.

The beds are comfortable, the room is clean, and parking is available. However, there was no hair dryer, the towels were small, the shower took a long time to heat, and there was no detachable shower head— it was fixed to the wall.

The booking price wasn’t honored: they insisted the payment was for one room even though I booked two, and when I showed the booking confirmation email the staff refused to see it or refund me, which was disheartening witnessing poor treatment of foreign tourists. To make matters worse, communication with booking was awful; I had to book another place and move because everything was full on the holidays, and waiting for booking to sort it out left me sleeping on the street, especially tough traveling with kids.
