“Great staff not so great hotel”
The conference we attended was held right in the hotel, and the front desk, restaurant, and housekeeping staff were all very nice and kind. However, this was one of the worst Marriotts we’ve stayed at: hallway carpets were bunched and raised, room‑service dishes were left unpicked up, the restaurant wait time was absurdly long—so long that we avoided dining there—possibly due to a short‑staffed kitchen; the food itself was subpar, with a dry salmon burger, stale pancakes, rock‑hard cinnamon rolls, and fruit that clearly had been carried over from day to day and was not fresh.
