Super 8 by Wyndham Ticonderoga

The hotel sits conveniently before Vermont, just a short walk from Walmart. The breakfast, however, was almost nonexistent – only lukewarm water in a thermos for tea or decaf coffee, individually wrapped pastries with icing sugar and mold, fruit cups, and protein bars that had clearly seen better days. The staff didn't feel very welcoming.

“Good location for exploring our Revolutionary War history.”

The location and staff were great, but the breakfast could have been better.

“Disappointment. Not going back.”

Clean room and bathroom. Quite location for a good night of sleep after driving for hours. (1) The complimentary breakfast is a HUGE disappointment. There is NO dining facilities. Grap the VERY limited breakfast items and take them to your room. See attached pictures. We ended up having breakfast in the local diner during our two-day stay. (2) There is no elevator. This is a problem if you are on the second floor and have two or more carry on bags. Or pregnant

“Nice place for a quick stay.”

I was on a motorcycle tour of the area, and the staff were friendly and quick to meet our needs. The beds were brand new, though the staff were still installing them. The location was fine, like a hotel off an interstate, but we couldn’t find a common area for a large group to gather, though we didn’t ask for one. The lobby was small, and the included breakfast was just a sweet roll and a pot of coffee.

“We chose not to stay due to the health risks associated with mold exposure.”

The location was easy to find, but when we arrived the only vehicle in the lot was an old pickup truck in the back of the building. The place looked abandoned, with people repairing the roof and caution tape across the front. Inside, the smell of mold was strong, and we were told the roof was being repaired due to damage from recent heavy rains.
