Its proximity to the ski area and downtown Wilmington for dinner, combined with its cleanliness and quiet atmosphere, made it a real hidden gem. The hosts were wonderful, ensuring every need was met, and the husband‑and‑wife team was very sociable.

The owners were very friendly, and we used the sauna but not the pool; the showers delivered excellent hot water. The hotel clearly needs upkeep, especially our room: the bathroom urgently required a new tub and sink, the room itself was cramped, and the walls were so thin that we could hear every voice and footstep from the room above us.
