The location let me discover Cap à l’Aigle, a lovely spot 🥰, and it was peaceful. Food was missing, and there was no reply to emails.

The location and welcome were good. The mattress was worn and the toilet was very low with no grab bar for elderly people.

The place was very quiet, even though it looked like almost every room was booked, so the rooms must be well sound‑proofed. The photos made it seem like you’d get a water view and a larger room, but I wasn’t a fan of having no sink in the bathroom. I also disliked the carpet everywhere because of allergens and the difficulty of cleaning it. Since there’s no brunch service, the fridge should be a bit bigger.

It was calm, had a small pleasant terrace and a nice view, plus parking. Nothing else to note.

Probably an over‑booking situation… We arrived on site at 17h after the reservation, and they told us we’d cancelled even though that wasn’t true. The staff barely spoke French. The room was already paid for, and we had to scramble to find a room alone at the last minute, which wasn’t easy. It cost us an extra 100,00$! We were refunded the reservation price of 181,00$ + 81,00$, but the other last‑minute room ended up costing 352,00$! It was a very stressful experience during our vacation, and I won’t recommend this place.
