The staff were courteous and helpful, yet the self‑serve food had some items that seemed off‑fresh, and the breakfast bread was stale.

The outdoor breakfast was always exceptional, Nico and his whole team were very attentive and friendly, extra charges were very fair, and the hotel’s location was perfect, very close to the town. The parking issue is well known and quite dominant this year.

At reception you were spoken to in German, the pool was nice, the lake and town were a short walk away, and for breakfast there were extra plates of fruit, cheese + ham and fried eggs – we were surprised, maybe because it was a suite? Otherwise breakfast was very sparse, and as always the bathroom, though newly renovated, had no hooks, no storage space, and no toilet paper holder. The climate control seemed broken and it was very loud.
