The manager kindly offered us a ride into town for dinner and picked us up afterward, and the courtyard was pleasant. However, the location was inconvenient: it sits on a rutted dirt road, backs onto several shanties, and the area is littered. The main road is heavily trafficked and there are no nearby restaurants.

We arrived at the hotel around 2:00 PM and told the staff we wanted to check in. We had booked a queen‑size bed, which had been confirmed. During check‑in, the staff seemed surprised, and the process took a while. Eventually we were given a room and had already unpacked when a staff member told us we had been assigned a family room and asked if we could cancel and rebook at an extra cost. We refused. The hotel admitted it was a mistake and that we could stay in the family room free of charge. The stay was uncomfortable and the atmosphere awkward; the staff stared at us but did not ease our tension. Other guests were mainly Chinese and not very talkative. We were told breakfast was included, but when we tried to have breakfast at 8:00 AM the staff said it was over. Shortly after, two plates with a sandwich appeared: a very meager breakfast of egg‑salad sandwich and coffee. The price we paid did not match the quality we received. Had the hotel been pleasant, we would have booked more nights, but because we felt so uncomfortable on the first night we chose to stay elsewhere. I do not recommend this place.

The room was large, light, and airy. The staff were lovely, helpful, and friendly. The shared outdoor spaces were attractive and cool. Tap water was cold. Breakfast was lacking: there was no choice, only pre‑made and cold cooked dishes, no fresh fruit, and only pre‑made white coffee.

The staff were super friendly and the hotel offers a shuttle that takes you to each destination and brings you back. Perfect for anyone who goes diving 👍 The rooms were clean and all furniture was almost new. Every day a different breakfast was served so it didn’t feel monotonous. I was really pleasantly surprised and would definitely come back.
