“Tolle Finca, vor Ort Betreuung nicht so toll”
The Finca is beautiful and very large. The property itself is also great. You stay very quietly, only another house is on the grounds. Every bedroom has air‑conditioning. Unfortunately the on‑site support was not very reliable. They only took care of things when you asked repeatedly. The electricity is modest, many lamps and the fan on the terrace didn’t work or there was no remote for it and it wasn’t repaired. Because of the air‑conditioners water always ran over the balcony and onto the awning or the terrace where we sat. The worst was the pool filtration and pump. It worked only a day, then everything broke and the pool got messier and was never filtered again. They said a pool attendant came regularly, but he was very irregular. I always had to ask, and it could take up to 3 days for the pool to run again, and then only for a maximum of one day. Apparently there was a time‑switch, but it kept failing because of bad electronics. I was actually in daily contact with the property manager, yet nothing happened. We also received no feedback from them after we left, not even about the deposit. On the grounds a nearby house was booked twice in a row by a group of about 8 young men, which was quite loud.
