I loved this hotel – it’s gorgeous, well‑located, and the staff were always very friendly. The rooms are beautifully decorated, very spacious, and the bathrooms are equally large, all impeccably clean. The hotel looks stunning, but I felt some areas, both in the hotel and in the rooms, could use maintenance. Other than that, I adored it and would definitely return.

We came to Bath for a post‑wedding getaway, and we fell in love with the city and the room – large, spacious, and within walking distance of both the train station and the city centre, yet quiet in the evenings. The staff were very helpful, letting us store our bags before check‑in. They had our bags ready in the room along with a free upgrade that included a bottle of Prosecco to celebrate our wedding, a lovely gesture. There was very little to dislike about the property.

The hotel exudes a lot of ambiance, with a lovely setup and a short walk to the train station (5 minutes) and the town centre (2 minutes). There are many nearby options to enjoy. I might stay here again if I return to Bath. The only downside was that the English roast beef and Yorkshire pudding, the highlight of our three‑week trip, fell short of expectations. The hotel was hosting a tour and essentially took over the dining room, leaving us in a back room that didn’t match the memory we hoped for. We requested another table up front, but the server was overwhelmed with too many tables. The room could have been cleaner – dust was found in a few spots.
