The staff were super helpful and the surroundings were lovely, but the property’s remote spot means you can hear traffic from the nearby road.

The view from the hotel was fantastic, but there was no restaurant on site even though it was listed, and the tiny town has none either. Cleaning could have been better.

The staff were genuinely nice and friendly, and the view was gorgeous – especially in winter. We couldn’t try the breakfast because we had to leave early. However, the beds weren’t clean; it looked like the sheets hadn’t been changed and there were hairs at the headboard. The glasses on the table were upside‑down but all four had been used, and the kids’ loft bed was wobbly and squeaked with every move.
