The place looked tidy and the host was friendly, but the listing was full of false claims. They advertised a “king room”, yet the bed we got was only 120 cm wide, and the double bed supposedly 130‑150 cm turned out to be even smaller, making it impossible for two of us to sleep comfortably. We arrived to find just one pillow and one towel; when we asked for more, we were told everything was hidden in a hallway cupboard. There was no proper blanket, only a flimsy throw, so we had to sleep in trousers and jackets to stay warm. Check‑in was confusing—we had to keep calling for basic information that should have been provided upfront. The shower was awful, spraying water everywhere except where it should, and the walls were so thin that the next room’s TV and noisy guests made it impossible to sleep. At 11:45 pm they were still watching a movie loudly, and at 7 am they started talking, tossing suitcases and using a hairdryer, as if they were in our room. Overall, the bed was not as advertised, essential amenities were missing, we were cold all night, the shower was terrible, and the lack of soundproofing ruined our sleep. I would not recommend this place and would never stay here again.

On the website it isn’t mentioned that it’s a guest house and that you have to call to get the key box code on check‑in day. The shower is moldy; I asked for it to be cleaned. The city taxes were overcharged, so I requested a correction. The towels and toilet paper are not worth the €100 a night. The soundproofing needs to be redone.

The place was quiet and everything was spotless. The host was very attentive.

The spot was great, about twenty minutes on foot to the Vatican and the metro was just a block away. The host was friendly and let us check in an hour early! The room was beautiful with a private balcony. Needs to be redone. Nothing else to mention.
