“Convenient for what we had to do”
The staff were very friendly, but the food wasn’t that good.

The host and staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, the room was comfortable with plenty of tea, coffee, and other supplies, and even though the pub was very busy and had an evening entertainer, the room stayed perfectly quiet and restful; the menus for the evening meal and breakfast offered a good variety and we enjoyed all our food. We would have liked a fruit juice and/or a choice of cereal as a 'starter' for breakfast.
I was greeted with a warm welcome and the room felt cozy, but the shower was scorching hot and I had no way to lower the temperature.

The staff were brilliant, the location was perfect for our travels, the place was dog friendly, the restaurant and on‑site food were great, and the dogs received a brilliant welcome pack when we arrived; the value for money was great and the bed was exceptionally comfy, so we’d stay again. For the price point it was exceptionally good for 2 adults and 2 dogs!
