The owner is an absolute sweetheart—she handed us tons of local tips and served a breakfast that included juice, fresh bread, eggs, coffee, milk, cold cuts and fruit.
Breakfast was fantastic – Luciana put a lot of love and care into everything she served.
The room was huge, tidy and gave us plenty of space to spread out.

“Simplicidade e conforto!”
The place is in a great spot, and I have nothing else to complain about.
“Lugar horroroso, filme de terror”
The only thing that made sense was the location – it’s actually convenient. Everything else felt like stepping onto a horror set: the place is hidden in dense brush with no sign, the bed was covered in a torn, filthy plastic sheet and a disgusting mosquito net, and the shower barely worked, the faucet wouldn’t turn and the whole bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years.

The house sits in a perfect location and the bed was truly comfortable, but the experience fell apart quickly. The owner came down with a nasty cold and couldn’t provide breakfast, so we had to buy it at a bakery every morning, which was far from what we’d expected after reading the reviews.
The location was fine, and the host was amazing, going out of her way to make us feel welcome and somehow covering up the shortcomings of the property and its comfort. The accommodation lacks any hotel‑like structure: to reach the room you have to climb a flight of stairs, there is no air conditioning, and the sheets and pillowcases came from different sets and carried an unpleasant smell. In the bathroom the sink tap had a cloth tied to it, the lock was glued with Durex, and the room door was sealed with Durex as well. The room and bathroom were not cleaned properly, so we couldn’t walk on the floor barefoot. A makeshift curtain hung over the bed, suspended by nylon cords tied to a PVC pipe frame. Even though the host mentioned that the place was under renovation, it looked abandoned, with weeds growing everywhere around the lodge.
