The hotel was excellent and clean, and the price‑to‑value ratio was top. The view was a dream. The location is a bit outside; you have to walk about 15 minutes through the park and then along the beach promenade to reach the city center. It’s really okay.

“Excellent staff and location if you are looking for a quiet retreat”

We stayed on the 12th floor, enjoying a stunning view of Diamond Head and the beach; that side of the island is much quieter, but it also meant Uber and other transport took more time and money. The staff were friendly and informative, but for the price of the room, more amenities would have been welcome. The complimentary soaps were high quality, and the hotel’s welcome was very special. The elevator was out of service, and there was only one, but it didn’t take long. I was there Monday and Tuesday, and the restaurant was closed. I checked out before I could experience their family‑style service.

“We had a great week-long stay. The Lotus would be a top option for us if we return to Oahu”

The property was clean and comfortable, with rooms furnished in modern style and equipped with all the usual amenities. We absolutely loved the view of Diamond Head from our balcony, especially in the morning. The complimentary water bottles were nice, and every staff member we met was very friendly and accommodating. Kaimana Beach, a very nice family‑friendly beach, was just a short walk from the property. We liked that the hotel was off the “main drag” yet close enough to walk; a vehicle was handy for our trip, but it wasn’t required. Parking was somewhat limited and compact, making it a bit hard to find a spot, especially later at night—this was the only drawback.

“The hotel was great. Housekeeping gave me fresh towels, fresh toiletries, and made my bed every day”

The location was excellent, just steps from the beach and a short walk to all shops, stores, and restaurants. It would have been even better if the hotel had a pool.
