The old castle is cool, exciting. Cozy inside and outside areas. Quiet – only 3 rooms. The “pool” was only about 1.5 × 2.5 m, so unfortunately swimming wasn’t possible. We would have liked to know that before booking.

The place is truly beautiful, clean and well cared for. The owner Daniela and especially the lady who takes care of breakfast, Edda, are exceptional; they pay attention to the customer and all needs. Highly recommended.

A must‑visit! Beautiful building, you feel the owners’ love for the family house. Traditional building elements are preserved, surrounded by a modern, rustic Italian touch! The courtyard offers shade under the green patio, the ideal spot to enjoy the tasty, extensive breakfast with fresh products, a fried egg cooked a la minute and good coffee. Racale is a small village, not far from the big cities; if you love peace and originality, this is the place to be.

The apartment was tidy and very clean, and the small pool was fine. It was easy to locate, and the beach was just 15 minutes away – great. Racale, however, feels like a sleepy town with little to do and not very pretty; a car is essential to see the surrounding spots. There’s a bakery around the corner that serves delicious coffee and croissants.
