It was clean and didn’t smell like a cheap motel, yet it was actually a cheap motel. Everything worked as expected, so it was fine for a quick overnight budget stop. However, a bright security light outside the window couldn’t be blocked by the curtains, and I had to argue with front desk about the room rate; he wanted to charge more than the reservation price but eventually honored it.

The smoking option and location were positives, but we weren’t allowed a visitor and were told we’d have to leave if one came. The TV turned on but had no channels, and the remote didn’t work, so I couldn’t try to program it.

Everything was great! It was clean and cool when we arrived, with a fridge, microwave, ice maker, and a good location that made us feel safe. It was well lit at night, the price was excellent, and I will definitely stay again next time we’re in town.
