The charm of the place and the quality of the reception were excellent, the cuisine was outstanding, but the external sound insulation was not strong enough.

The dinner and breakfast were great, but the room could only be reached by stairs and was scorching hot, even with the outside temperature being hot.

“A great place to stop off en route to other parts of France . Excellent food .”

The location was excellent for an overnight stop between Calais and our ultimate holiday destination in the south west of France, the town was very nice, the staff were friendly, and dinner was excellent and well priced. This property is primarily a (popular) restaurant with a few rooms to let, so it should be viewed as such rather than as a hotel. The bedrooms were very hot, making it hard to sleep; fortunately we brought our own fans and an air‑con unit and were able to use those. While the extreme high temperature was outside the venue’s control, the guest house we stayed in on the way back had cool bedrooms and provided fans. Breakfast was expensive, consisting of only one hot drink, one fruit juice and one croissant.

“Frankreich von seiner besten Seite!”

Breakfast was very good, and the bakery next door offers fresh croissants and pastries; the restaurant is excellent with very friendly staff, making you feel well taken care of. However, it was very hot that weekend and there was no air conditioning or fan available.
