The bar was outstanding with a great team—professional and friendly. However, the check‑in was a disaster; I had booked two Elite suites and we spent 1 hour 30 minutes at the desk. The receptionist was incompetent and even mocked us, and the manager only managed to sort things out as best she could. Overall, a real let‑down.

Staying at Riu Palace Mauritius was beautiful; the resort itself is stunning, the beach is amazing, and the staff are incredibly kind and welcoming. Every detail—from service to cuisine to the overall vibe—was flawless, making it truly unforgettable. However, we found two cockroaches in the shower, which was quite unpleasant and disappointing for a resort of this caliber.
